A local Goodwill which once hosted about 300 movies (and usually had pretty good titles) has now become this: unwanted garbage displayed in the worst possible way. The amount of tapes and their desirability are also constantly declining.
I’ve noticed this happening at more and more stores and it’s really sad. I might have to start talking to the managers or something. I mean, if they’re just trashing them, or hoarding “the cool stuff” in the back, why not let me go through the stash first? Keep yr store interesting, dood, i’ll give you all my money wtfz
dude i work at a goodwill, we will get fired if we dont put shit out. we do not get first pick of the stuff, we have to wait for it sit on the sales floor for 24 hours. for VHS what we get in is what we put out. they are not hoarding, no one is donating VHS.
as a worker of goodwill i can say that even the mangers and boss of the store have no say in anything that gets put out, any display that gets put up, the amount of clothes we put out and the amount of stuff (VHS, DVD, vases, lamps, plates, books, shoes). a district manger (general an older man that looks like he hasnt ever worked, in a goodwill and never really will) comes in once a week and delegates what he wants done and how. and lots of times he’ll come in next week and tell you to redo what he asked last week.

drinking milk is so gross. as humans we can produce our own milk but no we go and milk other animals to drink. its kinda fucked up.
